If you want to buy PPC niche edits or digital marketing niche edits in 2026, published per-link rates run from $25 to $35 for bulk DA 10+ links up to $300 to $528 for DA 50+ and DR 60+ hosts. For a marketing or PPC agency ranking its own site, the useful middle is $140 to $250 a link on a real marketing publication. Before price, check three things: whether you see the host before paying, how fast the link goes live, and who can remove it later.
We sell placements on marketing, business and tech portals we own and operate, so we are one of the options in the table below. Every other rate was read on the vendor's own site, with the date noted. Where another vendor suits an agency better than we do, we say so.
Marketing is one of the hardest niches to rank in, because the people competing with you do SEO for a living. Three kinds of US buyers make up most of this market.
PPC agencies ranking their own service pages. A Google Ads shop in Chicago or a paid social agency in Miami wants "PPC management for dentists", "Google Ads agency Chicago" or "Amazon PPC agency" to rank, because those searches turn into audit requests. A single retained client is often worth $2,000 to $10,000 a month in management fees, so a handful of links that lift one service page can pay for a year of link spend.
Full-service digital marketing agencies. Agencies selling SEO, content and paid media compete on city terms ("digital marketing agency Denver") and on vertical terms ("marketing agency for law firms"). The pages ranking above them often have 40 to 150 referring domains, so they need steady placements over a long period, mostly from marketing and small business publications.
Martech and email marketing software. Email tools, call tracking platforms and reporting dashboards buy links to comparison and integration pages. They care about relevance and readers more than the price card. Our SaaS link building page covers that side in more depth.
If you buy links for client sites rather than your own, the economics change: you need a wholesale price, unbranded reports and hosts you can explain to a client. Our white label link building terms and the comparison of niche edit vendors for agencies cover that case.
We checked the pages ranking for "buy digital marketing niche edits" and "buy PPC niche edits" in October 2026. They are generic niche edit sales pages, a forum post listing three vendors and a guide from a rank tracking tool. None of them compares vendors for a marketing agency on price. The table covers vendors whose terms we could read on their own site.
| Vendor | Model | Published price | Turnaround | See the host first? | Where it wins |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Digital Penguin | Niche edits won by outreach, priced by Moz DA | $30 DA 20+, $60 DA 30+, $140 DA 40+, $300 DA 50+, $410 DA 60+ (read 1 Oct 2026) | 9 days | Yes. It shows the URL, traffic and topical fit and waits for your approval | The cheapest vendor we found that still lets you approve each host |
| LinkfireSEO | Bulk niche edits sold to marketing agencies, white label reports | $35 for a single DA 10+ tester link, $31 each in packs of 10, $25 each in packs of 20 (read 1 Oct 2026) | Not published | Not stated | Very low entry price and fully unbranded reports for resellers |
| UpBuild | Managed niche edits at publisher cost plus a service fee | Publisher cost plus a 15% to 25% fee, no minimum order, pay only for live links (read 1 Oct 2026) | 2 to 3 weeks | Yes. It sends the target URL, context and proposed placement before publishing | Transparent cost-plus pricing and a 90-day replace-or-refund promise |
| Outreach Monks | Niche edits won by outreach across mainstream topics | $99 DR 20+, $119 DR 30+, $179 DR 40+, $239 DR 50+, $319 DR 60+, $449 DR 70+ (read 30 Sep 2026) | About 2 weeks | No. It matches the host page for you | A clear DR ladder and a 6-month free replacement if an insertion is removed |
| FATJOE | Blogger outreach priced by DR, self-serve dashboard | $83 DR 10+, $139 DR 30+, $250 DR 40+, $389 DR 50+, $528 DR 60+ (read 6 Sep 2026) | About 3 weeks | Not as standard | Easy ordering at volume, a lifetime link guarantee and a 10% agency discount |
| BuyNicheEdit | Insertions on a private network it says it owns, SEO and digital marketing among its topics | 5 links $120 up to 100 links $1,440 (read 22 Sep 2026) | 3 to 7 days | No. Domains are shared after the order | The lowest price per link for buyers who do not need to choose the site |
| BacklinkPlace | Marketing, business and tech portals we own and operate | $161 to $199 per placement depending on plan | About a week | Yes. You read the portal, its Domain Rating and its live Google Analytics traffic before ordering | The host is named before you pay and stays up because we run it. Our network is much smaller than an outreach vendor's reach |
The pattern matches every other niche we have priced. The cheapest links (LinkfireSEO packs, BuyNicheEdit and the low FATJOE tier) are the ones where you do not pick the site. The Digital Penguin is the exception at the low end, with host approval from $30, though DA 20 and DA 30 blogs rarely move a competitive agency page on their own. Vendors that let you approve the host and sell DA 40 and above charge $140 to $410, unless the seller owns the publication.
Backlinks for a marketing agency cost about $100 to $250 each at DR 20 to 40 and $250 to $530 at DR 50 and above when bought one placement at a time. Bulk DA 10+ links sell for $25 to $35, but those rarely help a service page in a niche full of SEO professionals. Managed packages cost more per link: Linkible, for example, starts at $1,499 for 6 to 8 links and charges about $375 to $583 a link on its DR 40+ packages.
Marketing is a mainstream niche, so you should not pay the 2x to 3x surcharges casino or crypto buyers face. What does push the price up is that marketing blogs get pitched constantly, so the editors who still say yes to a relevant link are choosy and the obvious link sellers are everywhere. Market bands by Domain Rating across all niches are on our niche edit pricing page.
A good host publishes about marketing, advertising, small business growth or ecommerce for readers who actually run campaigns or hire agencies. The article your link goes into should already discuss the problem your service solves, so a link to a PPC agency sits in a piece on lowering cost per lead in Google Ads, not in a list of "productivity apps for students". Marketing has more fake publications than almost any other niche, so run every proposed host through these checks.
An agency should point paid links at its service pages, vertical pages and city pages, not the homepage. Pages like "PPC management for dentists", "Google Ads agency Chicago" or "email marketing for ecommerce" rank for searches that become audit requests, and they usually have the fewest links on the site. The homepage collects links naturally from directories, partner badges and award listings.
Keep anchors mostly branded or descriptive ("the Chicago team's Google Ads audit", "their guide to lowering cost per lead"). Exact-match "PPC agency Chicago" anchors on every placement are the fastest way to make a profile look bought, and other SEOs in your market will notice. If you also compete in the map pack, local SEO link building explains how editorial links fit alongside citations.
Most local agencies move with two to four good placements a month aimed at three to five money pages. Compare the pages ranking above yours for your main service term: if they have 30 to 80 referring domains, you do not need hundreds. Agencies targeting national vertical terms like "marketing agency for SaaS" usually need five to ten a month for a year.
Work backward from revenue. A link only pays if the page it lifts turns visitors into signed retainers, and for an agency that means the lead moves from audit call to signed contract to a running account without stalling. Agencies that start closing more clients from organic search often tighten their client onboarding operations at the same time, so a new client's kickoff, ad account access, invoices and documents are handled without a week of email back and forth.
Niche edits are as safe as the host and the disclosure. Google's spam policies target links bought to manipulate rankings without a qualifying attribute, so a paid placement should carry rel="sponsored" and sit on a real site with real readers. For an agency the bigger risk is reputational: a prospect who checks your backlink profile and finds it full of link farm placements will draw conclusions about the work you would do for them.
For most agencies, niche edits are the better first buy. The link goes into an article that is already indexed and often already ranks, so it can pass value sooner, and it usually costs less than a new guest post. Guest posts make sense when you want a byline that shows expertise, such as a piece on Google Ads benchmarks for your vertical that you can also send to prospects. How an insertion looks on the page is shown on niche edits.
If you already know which service or vertical pages need links, the quickest route is to choose hosts you can read before paying. On BacklinkPlace you browse our marketing, business and tech portals, see each one's Domain Rating and live Google Analytics traffic, and order the placement at $161 to $199 depending on plan. The link is live in about a week and stays up because we run the site. Plans start at $199 a month for one placement and go to $1,290 for eight with a dedicated strategist; the full terms are on pricing.
